So, we went back to the church a few hours after our first encounter. ( Curiousity killed the cat? ) This time we didnt go up to the doors. There are three small treea infront of the church where we saw a random flash. We didn’t have the headlights on so it wasnt our reflection. On the steeple, there was a a small light blue glow, and as we were pulling out there was a flash by the back of the church. We thought for sure it was someone with a flashlight, but if it were it wouldn’t have just been a quick flash at all. Our friend got out of the car to take a picture of the church. His flash was on, and there was enough light to capture the church, but here all you see is a small blue spot …. thats where the church is supposed to be!! We werent far from the church either.
This church is creepy as hell. We are definitely going back. Curiousity has peaked.
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was one of the first stories I read as a little girl in elementary school. Everyone would grab their necks and hide between the bookshelves of the old school library. The scent of the musty pages as I became fascinated with the tale still lingers in my mind whenever I see Sleepy Hollow. In 1999, Tim Burton brought us Sleepy Hollow and I must say his version is by far the greatest version of this tale by far. Not to mention, that no little tween groups can make it into some lame and idiotic symbol for their angst and emo fandom … *cough cough* Nightmare Before Christmas*.
This was executed perfectly! Totally brought you into the time period of carriages, cobblestone streets, and a corrupt police system relying on Godly confessions instead of doing a full investigation. Ichabod Crane is always portrayed as a weak and silly school teacher, in this version he is a socially awkward, and eccentric constable who is fighting with the police force to start using scientific techniques to catch the true guilty citizens. Ichabod was sent by the judge (Sir Christopher Lee) to go to Sleepy Hollow to investigate the murders that were going on. The greatest thing about this movie is that it is rather dark and mysterious. The history of the families, the twists the turns, the witchcraft, the paranormal — All perfect for horror fanatics.
I’m actually quite addicted to this movie lately. Inspirational on so many levels and had the perfect cast.

I am quite fond of instrumentals.
Especially when I feel that the music can tell a story. Fill a void within your body. Stir up a feeling of emotion. Music makes us feel human. No matter who we are, we get lost in music. We can feel it grip us. Instrumentals I feel have a deeper connection to us. Why? Because it’s just the instrumentation connecting with us. Leaving it up to us to interpret the story and cause a curiosity – bring about a world of fantasy and imagination!
When I need to break away from reality, my favorite instrumentals are my key. It’s funny how I interpret the songs – even when heard plenty of times – a different way depending on my emotion that day. I feel very fortunate to have this confidence and connection with my humanity. Many people deprive themselves of this marvelous and curious connection.
I have to thank music for being my confidant for so long and my companion to keep me keyed into humanity. To keep me from shedding my humanity shell and to chase after my dreams. It gave me self empowerment. Hope. Love. Hate. Pain. Good. Evil. It gave me a connection to the natural world.
This is my opinion on instrumentals.
What is yours?
Hello my creeps.
Yes, I am writing a lot in my blog tonight because I have the funny feeling that I shall be busy writing my horror film today and will be neglecting my blog for a little while. I have been inspired to write my own horror film. It started off as a short story is now turning into a film within my brain and I’m inspired to write music and lyrics for it as well. My creativity is sky rocketing lately and I’m going to take advantage of it.
I will lock myself in my room with my notebooks, candles, and snackage to work upon this master piece festering within my brain. I enjoy creative binges. I must say though the best inspiration always comes when in the shower. Why is that? I hate it sometimes. Because when I get out and I’m back to reality — I forget what I have thought up. Soooooo — Lock away in my room with Mozart and candles to go on a creative splurge.
