Hello my Devils & Ghouls! Happy Halloween!
Today is the most fantastic day of the year for myself. Since I will be busy traipsing around in cemeteries and haunted places this evening, I thought I would post a review of one of my favorite films (Yet, it is disliked by many fans of Halloween): Halloween III Season of the Witch!
A killer in a shatner mask not included…
Here is the catchiest thing in this movie… The Silver Shamrock Commercial:
So what is the story line if Michael Meyers isn’t chasing Lori Strode around? Well, an evil corporate mask making company plans to kill many innocent children with a surprise they have with in the masks. Leave it up to corporations to kill many innocent children… Anyway, kids all over the world are begging their parents to buy them a silver shamrock mask. A man was coming back from the company to warn the town about the evil ways of the silver shamrock company. He reaches the hospital where he is seen as a loon and is mysteriously killed by a man in a trench coat who killed himself in the car afterwards. An investigation begins. The doctor who cared for the man follows the man’s daughter to the company town where they are on the hunt for her father’s killer. Naturally, the doctor is a big play-boy and there is a silly overly acted love scene in between it all so when you watch it with your children they will feel awkward and you will laugh at them.
What I like about this movie is the silly references to John Carpenter’s Halloween. It is being played on two television sets within the movie. You can also tell that it’s a Halloween feel movie because the killers sort of act like the great michael myers himself.

I rate this 10/10. 🙂

Today we shall address the band Ghost or Ghost B.C. To be clear, I honestly don’t know what they go by because one minute they are Ghost and the other moment they are referred to as Ghost B.C. They are in fact on the Metal-Archives: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ghost/3540309157 and that is where my love and I stumbled upon them.
So let’s get started with this review!
When you first listen to this band, you’d think you were back in the times of Iron Butterfly… even their music videos remind me of Black Sabbath’s cheese factor from back in the day. The band is full of nameless ghouls except for the singer who is Papa Emeritus II. For present day, their sound is unique and these Swedish fellas know how to be satanic, evil, and dark. In a way, they raise the hairs on your arms because you listen to the music and his voice… it sounds almost super cheerful. As if it were to brainwash you to join some cult or as a matter of fact, if this was the 1980s with the PMRC… I think this band would have been blamed for everything and they probably do have hidden messages in their lyrics that might sound evil but might be just like “Vilda, go make me a sandwich.”
Kinda art-rocky but not overboard art rocky where you want to be Andy Warhol.
I think it’s a refreshing band to emerge in today’s world of music. Check them out below:
Hello Creeps! Today, we have made a new video discussing our thoughts on Goth Rock, the 80s, and Hair-dos!
I apologize for my horrid dancing abilities!
I am quite fond of instrumentals.
Especially when I feel that the music can tell a story. Fill a void within your body. Stir up a feeling of emotion. Music makes us feel human. No matter who we are, we get lost in music. We can feel it grip us. Instrumentals I feel have a deeper connection to us. Why? Because it’s just the instrumentation connecting with us. Leaving it up to us to interpret the story and cause a curiosity – bring about a world of fantasy and imagination!
When I need to break away from reality, my favorite instrumentals are my key. It’s funny how I interpret the songs – even when heard plenty of times – a different way depending on my emotion that day. I feel very fortunate to have this confidence and connection with my humanity. Many people deprive themselves of this marvelous and curious connection.
I have to thank music for being my confidant for so long and my companion to keep me keyed into humanity. To keep me from shedding my humanity shell and to chase after my dreams. It gave me self empowerment. Hope. Love. Hate. Pain. Good. Evil. It gave me a connection to the natural world.
This is my opinion on instrumentals.
What is yours?
