Writing

0

Dear Creeps,

One of my favorite hobbies is writing short stories. I’ve always enjoyed those televisions shows where they would tell a tale you could get lost in. When I was a young girl, I would write to my hearts desire and even compose music soundtracks for the story I was writing! My love for writing is #2 on my list of loves as Music shall always be my #1. I received a few Creeper questions via Facebook, deviantart and Youtube that I’d like to answer here.

What type of stories do you usually write?

– I enjoy writing stories that could be placed within the Gothic category but also psychological horror. I do have a few Science Fiction short stories as well.

Do you outline your stories or just write?

– This depends. If it was for an assignment I would outline. If it’s for myself, I just write and then analyze.

What is the earliest story you remember writing?

– Let’s see — I was 10 sitting in my grandparents house for a visit. I had a notebook and composed a tale that took place in the early 1900s. It was about a young girl named, Rebecca, who was trying to find the truth of paranormal activity.

What’s the first story you received feedback?

– The Girl. I wrote it for a school English project and put it on Deviantart. Re-reading it now, I see all the errors and I’m in the process of re-writing it.

Thanks for the little questions. I’m off now to consume a dinner.

Life Narrator

0

What if your life had a narrator – who would be yours and why?

I’ve been having strange dreams lately where my life is narrated and such. Either by a single person or a band playing my life’s soundtrack. So I thought it would be interesting to hear what other people have to say about this question.

My answer would have to be either Christopher Lee or Rod Serling or possibly Vincent Price. As you can see I’m quite indecisive about this. I think if there was some Lee-Serling-Price hyrbid that would be the individual. I like the strong tone of Sir Lee, the calm yet strange tone of Mr. Serling and the unique and eerie tone of Mr. Price. But if I can only choose one – Most likely Mr. Vincent Price. Because as I’m writing this I can hear him narrate my actions in his voice so he wins.

Now, it’s your turn. If you’re someone that happens to stumble upon this post – Who would you want to narrate your life?

Actions of Others

0

Have you ever had to suffer the consequences due to an other person’s actions? I have for a majority of my life and I’m getting tired of it. The more I show that I am not the person that did the horrid deeds the more and more I have to pay becuase I am a child of that person. You see creeps – my mother made poor decisions. And didn’t have to pay for her actions whatsoever. After she took off — I HAD to deal with what she created and still do ’til this day even though that was back in 2007! You my lovely Ghouls – For some reason my mother had to go around and ruin my reputation. Claiming I’m just as she when in reality — she doesn’t know me at all. I get the backlash from her actions when I didn’t do anything wrong. I was a kid at the time all this was happening. So how on earth could I cause anything? That’s right I couldn’t!

For so many years I had to put up with bullying, harrassment, and accusations because of the woman that gave birth to me. When will enough be enough?! When will it be her turn to pay for the actions she put forth!?! Why should I be the scapegoat to her madness? I shouldn’t! I had to deal with her drinking, her abuse, and lies for what? So she can have a cheap thrill?

Truth of the matter is – Don’t let this sort of crap get you down. Sure you may need to vent like I did above. But you’re better than the person that caused the ruckus. You’re the champion going after your dreams. You’re the individual that will have life they’ve always wanted. Because you learned how NOT to be in life. There will be days when you ask the ever so popular: “Why Me?!” Truth is, that question will never be answered. That is because there isn’t one. No one knows why you were chosen to go through situations like that. But take the negative to fuel a positive. Take that angst and gear it towards your dream career. Gear it towards productivity. I say this because no matter how much you confront the individual(s) that created a monster for you – They’ll never get it. It’s like talking to a wall. You seriously need to throw out all the fucks you give and head on through. Stand tall and proud. While those individuals will cower and crawl!

Make your mark in this life. Whether it be large or small. Because the one thing you should never have to do is be ashamed of the situations you’ve been through – and most of all you should never be ashamed of who you are!

The Art of Urban Exploration

0

Urban Exploration isn’t immature people going around vandalizing old structures and taking what they can get for some petty cash. Urban Exploration is an art form. An adventure into the depths of modern ruins, where we can sense the ghosts of it’s past. I myself enjoy exploration. It’s a relaxing activity for me and it helps me with my photography hobby:

What I love the most about exploration is the inspiration for my music and other creative endeavors. I can hear the voices of people past as I go about different rooms snapping photos and enjoying the beauty of the structure. We don’t sit down enough and admire the beauty of nature as it claims it’s place through the floorboards and eventually devour the structure. It’s amazing what nature can do when we humans don’t tamper with it. Exploration to me is a very spiritual moment. Where the worlds of our mother nature and mankind collide in an interesting manner.

People often confuse explorers for vandals because there are some immature twits that label themselves “explorers” when in fact all they are – small minded, immature individuals with a spray can with an ego higher than the sky.

Does my exploration hobby have an effect on personal relationships? Well, my boyfriend is a fellow explorer so we are planning some good endeavors when spring breaks. My family only tells me to be careful and they worry one day I won’t come back from one. Friends – they ditch because they don’t understand the hobby. That’s fine. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Naturally, there are dangers when going into these places. So, do proceed with caution. If your gut tells you not to – Don’t. It won’t make you a coward nor any less of the bad ass you think you are if you use proper judgement. Always make sure to have another individual with you. Not everyone feels the need to – but in some cases it can be helpful. Always remember to take only photos and leave only footprints.
